Description:

This was my best attempt at delivering a character action game. Inspired by games like DmC and Bayonetta. 

It's a prototype and since I, like everyone else, was short on time, the amount of actual options available to the player is pretty slim. Still, the main game loop revolves around moving from one combat arena into another. Fighting a predetermined enemy group on a predetermined map configuration. 

There's a focus on using combo attacks to hit invisible enemies and flip their colors, turning them visible. The other focus is on launching enemies into the air and juggling them, since multiple hits on the floor will cause them to dodge or counter your attacks. The game is a small tutorial and then a handful of increasingly hard fights. I personally had a blast clearing the last one. I hope you do too!

Extra Notes: 

 The initial idea came from a youtube link one of the members of the team shared. It was for the Jack vs the Ninja fight scene in the season 4 of Samurai Jack. The entire scene is in black and white, no shades of grey, and both fighters use this perception of light to appear invisible to each other.
